It provides a lens into how your body is creating and using energy and handling stress, so besides actual mineral levels, it tells us a lot about your adrenal function, thyroid activity, blood sugar regulation, hormone balance, and more.

  • Nope, the HTMA only requires a hair sample, so you’ll take it at home and then mail it to the lab! You might prefer asking your partner or a friend to help you out with taking your sample, but with a mirror, it’s simple enough to do yourself. You’ll receive your test kit with everything you need plus detailed instructions along with a video so you know exactly what to do and can take your test right away.

  • The Root is designed to be different, giving you a full picture of what’s actually happening in your body ASAP— why you’re feeling exhausted, irritable, and out of balance— and exactly what you need to do to start restoring your energy and wellbeing.
